Stephen's on State originally opened their doors in June of 2003 under the name Stephen's Prime. Primarily a steak house, the restaurant operated for three years before the owners felt a change was necessary. They wanted to create a more casual setting and in August 2008 renovations began. The entire face of the restaurant was demolished and replaced with sliding french doors that open out to the street. Opening under the name Stephen's on State, the restaurant now offers outside cafe dining in addition to the ala carte lunch and dinner menu.  

Lunch:  
Monday - Friday: 11am to 3pm

Dinner:  
Monday - Thursday: 4pm to 10pm
Friday & Saturday: 4pm to 10:30pm
Sunday: 2pm to 9pm
